On 29 July the New Zealand government announced plans to recover the cost of managed isolation for some travellers. You may be required to pay for your managed isolation if travelling to New Zealand. New bookings on flights to and from Australia with Air New Zealand are currently on hold, due to the caps on the number of passengers allowed into both countries. Airlines manage the sale of tickets in line with the caps, not government. If you have a flight booked between Australia and New Zealand, contact your airline or travel agent for information on potential changes to your flight.
