Nicaragua

Commercial flights out of Nicaragua are mostly suspended. Flight schedules and border restrictions are changing at short notice. Follow the Australian Embassy in Mexico on social media for flight updates. Where flights do become available, book directly with the airline. If you plan to enter Nicaragua, you must present a negative COVID-Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test taken within 72 hours prior to entry or 96 hours prior to entry if you're travelling from Asia, Africa or Oceania. If you're granted entry, you'll be monitored by phone by health officials for 14 days. You'll be denied entry if you have respiratory disease symptoms or a fever.
