Switzerland
Switzerland is allowing entry from the EU, European Free Trade Association (EFTA) states and the UK with some exceptions. You can't enter as a third country national from a third country unless you have a specific right to be in Switzerland, such as having a Swiss residence permit. EU, EFTA and UK citizens can however, enter Switzerland from third countries. From 6 July, if you arrive in Switzerland from certain specified countries, you'll be required to quarantine in your accommodation for 10 days. You can still transit through Switzerland, unless border authorities suspect you won't be able to leave. Strict hygiene and social distancing rules are in place, including the mandatory use of masks on public transport (see Travel).
We advise:
Do not travel to Switzerland.
