Costa Rica has lifted entry restrictions for a small number of countries with low rates of COVID-19. Travellers who can prove they spent at least 14 days in selected 44 countries (see Travel) and travel directly by air to Costa Rica will be allowed to enter. You'll also need proof of insurance purchased from the approved insurance provider, a negative COVID (PRC-RT) test taken within 48 hours and a digital health pass completed prior to your travel. Residents of Costa Rica can enter from any country with a digital form completed prior to travel.
