Ecuador's borders are closed and commercial flights are limited. Non-essential movement within Ecuador is restricted, and different municipalities have different restrictions in place, following a traffic light system (see Travel). Essential services continue to operate, but expect long queues and delays. Some options to return to Australia via the USA and Europe are available. Our ability to provide consular services in Ecuador remains limited.
