Papua New Guinea
The PNG Government has imposed a 14 day lockdown within the National Capital District and Port Moresby from 28 July 2020. A curfew is in place from 10pm to 5am, schools are closed and only essential businesses can operate. Masks are mandatory in public spaces and there is a maximum limit of 15 people gathering in public spaces. All domestic air travel is limited to essential purposes only and must have prior approval from the National Pandemic Act Controller. Individual provinces may impose additional restrictions, including lockdowns. You can't enter the country unless you have an exemption from PNG authorities and have returned a negative COVID-19 Test (Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test) within seven days prior to your arrival (see Visas).
We advise:
Do not travel to Papua New Guinea.
