Switzerland
If you travel to Switzerland despite our advice, you can only enter the country from the Schengen area and countries considered low risk. EU/EFTA and UK citizens and Swiss residents can enter normally. However, if you've been in a country with an increased risk of infection in the last 14 days, you'll need to quarantine in your accommodation for 10 days, no matter your nationality. (See 'Travel' for links to the countries considered high and low risk.) Strict hygiene and social distancing rules are in place, including the mandatory use of masks on public transport. There may be additional requirements that apply to you depending on the canton you're in.
We advise:
Do not travel to Switzerland.
