Non-EU citizens or residents who arrive from outside the EU and the Schengen area are not allowed to enter Austria. Exceptions may apply depending on where you are travelling from and your reason for travel, with additional entry requirements to be followed. Entry restrictions are subject to change and may do so at short notice. Austria has implemented COVID-19 restrictions on a regional basis using a four-colour traffic light system.
