Namibia

Namibia is in lockdown until further notice. The Hosea Kutako International Airport (Windhoek) is now open and there’ll be a gradual resumption of some international flights. There’s a country-wide curfew in place from 8pm to 5am, and restrictions on domestic travel in and out of the Khomas region, including the municipal areas of Windhoek, Okahandja and Rehoboth. If you go out in public you’ll be required to wear a face mask at all times. If you travel to Namibia despite our advice, you'll need proof of a negative COVID 19 test (PCR) taken in the 72 hours before you arrive. You must then quarantine in an approved facility for 7 days, at your own cost. If you test negative, you'll be discharged.

We advise:

Do not travel to Namibia.
