Limited commercial flights into and out of Bujumbura International Airport have resumed. You must present proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours of boarding your flight when entering or leaving the country. On arrival, you’ll take a COVID-19 test and spend 72 hours in mandatory quarantine while waiting for results of the test. All hotel costs are your responsibility. If any passenger tests positive on your flight you'll be placed into quarantine for 14 days. Follow the advice of local authorities.
