United Kingdom
The UK Government has raised its terrorism threat level to severe, meaning it assesses an attack is highly likely.
In response to COVID-19, new national restrictions are in place across the UK. You should avoid travelling in or out of your local area and you can only leave your home for specific reasons (see 'Travel'). These new restrictions will not prevent you from returning to Australia. If you intend to leave the UK but haven't been able to because of travel restrictions or self-isolation related to COVID-19, and you have a visa or leave that expires between 1 November and 30 November, you can request additional time from the UK Government to stay (see 'Visas').
