Italy

The Italian Government has banned non-essential travel between regions from 21 December 2020 until 6 January 2021 to avert a potential third wave of COVID-19. You will not be able to move outside your municipality on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's day. All international travellers returning to Italy between 21 December to 6 January will also need to self-isolate for two weeks, regardless of where they are travelling from. A national curfew is still in place between 10pm and 5am. Regions may adjust measures in keeping with local requirements, including localised curfews and lockdowns. Follow social distancing protocols and use masks in line with regional measures. Monitor and follow the advice of local authorities.

We advise:

Do not travel to Italy.
