All commercial international and domestic flights remain suspended. Foreign nationals may apply for short-term (up to 60 days) diplomatic, official or business visas. You must present a negative COVID-19 (PCR) test result taken within 72 hours of arrival. You'll be required to quarantine on arrival in a hotel for 10 days at your own expense, followed by an additional four days of self-isolation. You can reduce your time in quarantine to seven days if you can present documented proof of having received a full course of a COVID-19 vaccine. Movement between Ulaanbaatar and the provinces is restricted. Many movement and business restrictions have been eased in Ulaanbaatar but educational institutions are closed and public activities, events and gatherings remain suspended. Essential services are available. Follow the advice of local authorities.
