Romania
There's an ongoing State of Alert in Romania. Entry into the country for all non-EU citizens remains suspended. Entry restrictions and requirements are dependent on the country of departure (see 'Travel'). It's not mandatory to wear face masks in uncrowded outdoor public spaces. However, masks must still be worn on public transport, at bus and train stations, markets, fairs all enclosed public spaces and around schools. Other restrictions may be in place for high risk locations.
We continue to advise:
Do not travel to Romania due to the health risks from the COVID-19 pandemic and the significant disruptions to global travel.
