Saudi Arabia

All international travellers arriving into Saudi Arabia must complete a period of 7 days of institutional quarantine at personal expense. Exceptions apply if you are fully vaccinated. From 1 August, proof of COVID-19 vaccination will be required for entry into the majority of premises in Saudi Arabia. Entry into Saudi Arabia remains suspended for expatriates travelling from 20 countries (see 'Travel'). The ban also applies to expatriates transiting any of the 20 countries in the 14 days prior to their planned arrival into Saudi Arabia. Tourist visas remain suspended. Authorities have not yet announced plans for Hajj rituals in 2021. Check with local authorities for latest advice.

We continue to advise:

Do not travel to Saudi Arabia due to the health risks from the COVID-19 pandemic and the significant disruptions to global travel.
