Ethiopia

From 7 June 2021, a system of electronic COVID test certificates will be implemented for travellers entering, exiting and transiting Ethiopia. The level of advice for the Regional State of Tigray and surrounding areas remains 'do not travel' (level 4 of 4) due to ongoing armed clashes and deadly violence. Some flights are suspended, land borders are closed and communications networks may be disrupted. If you’re staying in Tigray, shelter in place, monitor the media and follow instructions issued by the authorities.
