Mongolia
Mongolia has eased COVID-19 restrictions on most activities and businesses. Limited commercial international and charter flights operate, but domestic flights remain suspended. To travel to Mongolia, you must present a negative COVID-19 (PCR) test result taken within 72 hours and then quarantine in a hotel for seven days at your own expense, followed by a further seven days of self-isolation at home. You may not need to quarantine on arrival if you’ve received a full course of COVID-19 vaccine 14 days prior to arrival or can provide medical proof you have recovered from COVID-19. Movement between Ulaanbaatar and the provinces has eased for those already fully vaccinated. Follow the advice of local authorities.
We continue to advise:
Do not travel to Mongolia due to the health risks from the COVID-19 pandemic and the significant disruptions to global travel.
