Saudi Arabia
Hajj will be limited to 60,000 citizens and residents of Saudi Arabia. Pilgrims must be vaccinated, free from chronic disease and between 18 and 65 years of age. From 1 August, proof of COVID-19 vaccination will be required for entry into the majority of premises in Saudi Arabia. Entry into Saudi Arabia remains suspended for expatriates travelling from nine countries (see 'Travel'). The ban also applies to expatriates transiting any of the nine countries in the 14 days prior to their planned arrival into Saudi Arabia. Tourist visas remain suspended.
We continue to advise:
Do not travel to Saudi Arabia due to the health risks from the COVID-19 pandemic and the significant disruptions to global travel.
