Sweden
There's a ban on non-essential travel to Sweden from countries outside the EU until 31 August. Several countries, including Australia, are exempt from this ban due to the low risk of COVID-19. Anyone entering Sweden must show a negative COVID-19 test taken in the 48 hours before arrival, unless you’re travelling from a Nordic country (Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway). You're required to self-isolate for 7 days after arrival, unless you're fully vaccinated or have been travelling in the EU, the UK or countries exempt from the travel ban (including Australia). Follow the advice of local health authorities.
We continue to advise:
Do not travel to Sweden due to the health risks from the COVID-19 pandemic and the significant disruptions to global travel.
