Uganda

To enter or depart Uganda you must present evidence of a negative COVID-19 (PCR) test taken within 120 hours of arrival/departure. Inter-district travel of all kinds is banned except within Kampala Metropolitan (Kampala, Wakiso, Mukono). All public transport (buses, taxis and boda bodas) is suspended between districts, but permitted within the same district. COVID-19 restrictions are in place (see 'Travel'). If you show symptoms of COVID-19, expect local authorities to quarantine you at a government isolation centre. Monitor the media for information on latest developments.
