Oman

Oman has banned entry from a number of countries. Check with your nearest Oman Embassy or airline for the latest list, which could change at short notice. A limited schedule of international flights to and from Oman have resumed. Entry is restricted to citizens and residents. A COVID-19 (PCR) test on arrival is mandatory and you'll have to undertake mandatory institutional health isolation at your own expense (see 'Travel'). Valid health insurance covering COVID-19 is required. The existing ban on movement will be extended from 16 to 31 July to apply between 5pm to 4am, except for the three days of Eid Al Adha (20-22 July) where the lockdown will be all day long. Home delivery services are allowed. All leisure spaces, beaches and public parks are closed.

We continue to advise:

Do not travel to Oman due to the health risks from the COVID-19 pandemic and the significant disruptions to global travel.
