Flights departing for Australia are limited and schedules may change at short notice. To leave Sri Lanka, you'll need to take a rapid antigen test within eight hours before checking in for your flight. To travel to Sri Lanka, you must show a negative COVID-19 (PCR) test report in English when checking in. The test must be taken within 72 hours of your departure or you won't be able to board your flight. You'll need to meet certain requirements to stay (see 'Travel'). Curfews and travel restrictions may be imposed at short notice. Follow media and the advice of local authorities to stay up to date.
