France
France has introduced a traffic light-based border control system. Entry and departure from France remain restricted depending on the country and your COVID-19 vaccination status. Unvaccinated travellers are subject to more stringent measures. A Health Pass (Pass Sanitaire), showing proof of vaccination status, serology or a negative PCR-test, is required for people aged 18 years or older to access certain venues, including restaurants, cafes, museums, cinemas, shopping centres and medical institutions (see 'Travel'). If you were vaccinated outside the EU, including in Australia, the French Government has provided advice on how to apply for a Health Pass (see ‘Health’). Contact your closest embassy or consulate of France and monitor the French Government's COVID-19 pages for the latest update.
We continue to advise:
Do not travel to France due to the health risks from the COVID-19 pandemic and the significant disruptions to global travel.
