Papua New Guinea
PNG's borders remain closed to most travellers. If you're not a PNG citizen, you'll only be allowed to travel to PNG if you're fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and have permission from local authorities. If you're allowed to enter PNG, you must quarantine at a designated facility for either 7 or 14 days. All persons who are vaccinated are allowed to travel without restrictions within PNG. Gatherings are restricted.
There is widespread community transmission of COVID-19 in most districts and provinces, including the Delta variant. COVID-19 is a serious health risk and is impacting the capacity of local health services. Follow the advice of local authorities and minimise your risk of infection.
