Taiwan

Foreign nationals without a residency permit can't travel to Taiwan at the moment. Foreign spouses and children of Taiwanese passport holders may apply to enter Taiwan. Other exceptions will be considered only on emergency or humanitarian grounds. International airport transits are not permitted. Quarantine measures have been tightened and you'll be tested for COVID-19 many times. If you've visited a "high risk country" in the last 14 days, you must quarantine in group quarantine facilities, paid for by Taiwan. If you've travelled from other countries, you can quarantine in a quarantine hotel or a group quarantine facility at your own expense. Wear a face mask at all times in public. Avoid unnecessary movement, activities, or gatherings. Follow the advice of local health authorities and check for updates.

We continue to advise:

Do not travel to Taiwan due to the health risks from the COVID-19 pandemic and the significant disruptions to global travel.
