Austria will enter a nationwide lockdown on 22 November 2021. All non-essential businesses will remain closed. This includes restaurants, bars and most shops. When entering Austria you must provide either proof of COVID-19 vaccination, evidence of a current negative COVID-19 PCR test, or proof of recovery from COVID-19. Unless vaccinated, you must self-isolate for 10 days. You may end isolation on day 5 with a new negative PCR test result. The Australian Embassy in Vienna will relocate to a new address on 22 November.
