Mauritius
To travel to Mauritius, you must present proof that you have met various requirements on arrival. This includes evidence of a negative COVID-19 test. You must also present proof of accommodation booking and health insurance covering COVID-19 treatment if you're not a citizen or resident. If you’re vaccinated, you must also show proof of your vaccination. You'll be required to take a COVID-19 test on arrival and on day five of your stay. If you’re unvaccinated, you must stay at an official quarantine hotel for 14 days. You must undertake a COVID-19 (PCR) test on arrival and on day 7 and 14 of your stay. Local services and public venues are operational with strict sanitary measures, vaccination requirements and capacity restrictions. Some social and religious gatherings are also allowed, subject to strict sanitary measures. Schools are closed as are some social, cultural and entertainment centres.
We now advise:
Exercise a high degree of caution in Mauritius due to the impacts of COVID-19.
