On 16 November 2021, two explosions occurred in the central business district of Kampala. This resulted in fatalities and injuries. You should avoid the area where the explosions occurred, monitor local media and follow the instructions of local authorities. We now advise you 'Reconsider your need to travel' (level 3 of 4) to Kampala due to the increased risk of terrorist attacks.
