United Kingdom
On 15 November the UK raised its terrorism threat level to severe (second-highest level) - meaning that an attack is highly likely. Be alert and follow the advice of local authorities (see 'Safety').
From 30 November you must self-isolate on arrival even if you're fully vaccinated. You must take a PCR test before the end of the second day and you can leave self-isolation if you test negative. Requirements for arriving in the UK depend on where you've been, including transits, in the 10 days before you arrive. The UK has a new international travel system which sets out entry requirements. The list of 'red' and 'rest of the world' countries can change. Simplified rules are in place for people recognised as fully vaccinated. You need to review the rules before travel. Penalties may apply if you don't follow measures.
