Iran
There's still community transmission of COVID-19 in Iran. You'll need to provide a negative COVID-19 (PCR) test conducted within 72 hours of travel on arrival and departure. Non-Iranian passengers must provide a valid COVID-19 double vaccination certificate issued no later than 14 days before your flight. You'll also need to complete self-declaration forms on inbound flights. Failure to wear a face covering in public could result in a fine. Medical evacuation may be difficult. If you’re in Iran, we continue to recommend you leave while commercial options are available. There are limited flights into and out of Iran.
We continue to advise:
Do not travel to Iran due to the health risks from the COVID-19 pandemic and the significant disruptions to global travel. The security situation remains volatile and there's a high risk you could be arbitrarily detained or arrested.
