French Polynesia

COVID-19 remains a risk in French Polynesia. Specific measures apply to travel to and from French Polynesia according to where you have been or where you are going. You'll need to provide proof you're fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and a negative PCR or supervised rapid antigen test result taken no longer than 24 hours before departure. If your last dose of a COVID-19 vaccine was more than 9 months ago, you must have a booster dose to be considered fully vaccinated. Follow the advice of local authorities. Strict measures also apply to inter-island travel. You'll need to show your International COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate along with your passport to travel from Tahiti, Moorea and Tetiaroa to other islands, and to enter certain venues (see 'Travel').

We now advise:

Exercise a high degree of caution in French Polynesia due to the impacts of COVID-19.
