We advise you to exercise normal safety precautions in South Korea. To enter South Korea, you must present a negative COVID-19 test result (in Korean or English) taken no more than 48 hours before departure or a supervised COVID-19 (RAT) taken within 24 hours before departure. If you test positive before departure, you will not be allowed to board your flight. There's no longer mandatory quarantine when travelling to South Korea, but you will be required to take a COVID-19 (PCR) test within 24 hours of arrival. You must take a COVID-19 (PCR) test on arrival in Korea. If you do not, you could be imprisoned for one year or face a fine of up to 10 million won. All travellers should isolate in their residence or accommodation until they receive a negative COVID-19 test result. If you test positive on arrival, you will be required to isolate for 7 days regardless of medical documentation of a prior COVID-19 diagnosis.
