Taiwan

Taiwanese citizens, Alien Resident Certificate (ARC) holders, and transit passengers are exempt from having to do a PCR test before departing for Taiwan. If you don’t fall into these categories and you're able to enter Taiwan, you'll still need to a present a negative COVID-19 (PCR) test result. The test must be taken within 2 days of your scheduled departure. International transits at Taiwan's airports are permitted. Entry restrictions to Taiwan have changed to allow certain categories of short-term visitors (including interns and those visiting for language study or international exchanges) to enter Taiwan. (See 'Travel').

We advise:

Exercise a high degree of caution in Taiwan due to the impacts of COVID-19.
