We've reviewed our advice for Guinea. We haven't changed the level of our advice, exercise a high degree of caution. Higher levels apply in some areas. There are currently heightened political tensions, including in the capital Conakry, with the potential for the situation to deteriorate without warning. You should exercise caution, remain vigilant and monitor local media. The Australian High Commission in Accra has very limited capacity to provide consular assistance in Guinea.
