Mask-wearing is no longer mandatory in most situations in Peru. They must still be worn in public transportation, in health centres, where ventilation is inadequate, or for people experiencing respiratory symptoms.

Exercise a high degree of caution in Peru overall due to the high risk of violent crime.

Higher levels apply in some areas.
